I freakin’ cannot believe it.
Paypal actually RE-INSTATED my account today.
Can you believe it? I can’t. I’m in shock. All the cash is there. And my account is ready to use again.
In any case, I’m still looking for alternatives. This was just entirely too stressful for me.
Every e-book that’s not being sold through affiliates will go under a new payment processor. And the ones that are sold through Paypal may be turned into print manuals, so I can get proof of shipping.
I am protecting my arse this time.
Thanks to all of you who felt my pain and offered suggestions. I appreciate it.

Alexis, thanks for sharing your painful roller-coaster journey with me/us. I can’t even begin to imagine the PITA experience this has been for you.
I’m thrilled for you that they’ve reinstated your account, and you make a solid case about offline products if using Paypal that I’ve begun the process of doing that myself for my new product offerings.
Would be super interested in what 3rd party processors you’re going to use in the near future. Thanks to you, I just registered for the 2CO Affiliate Program Beta, as I already use 2CO for WordpressTutorials.com.
And guess what? 2CO is going to integrate Paypal Express to their service too

Yes that was me asking about the DBO booklet. I had no idea the troubles you were going through Alexis. Glad you made it through though! Though, I am still a little unclear as to what PayPal had a problem with. Can you clarify?

Butch… Paypal NEVER told me exactly what the problem was. Like I said, there was speculation from the rep’s I spoke to.
But nobody came right out and said - “This is the exact reason why…”
That’s a blower. If something is wrong, how the heck am I supposed to fix it if they don’t clue me in?

Glad to hear everything worked out OK. You have REALLY given me something to think about. As you said, I think 2008 there needs to be some changes made in the way I also do business, collect money, etc. At the moment, I’m still trying to build my business.
BTW Butch, I have bought all the products. They’re all good.
