This is so frustrating! EBay was a terrific place to sell my eBooks from. And I do feel for the people that make a huge income selling eBooks on eBay.

Instead of banning all of us, why can’t they just make it so you can’t leave feedback on digital items?

Count me in as one of the people that are currently re-tooling part of the business I’m involved in as a response to Mr. Burke’s announcement. The thing is, I’ve seen this coming a long way out — and I mean, there’s other springboard sites to choose from, it’s just that ebay is so well known (heck, Grandma Murphy knows ebay, and she’s 120 miles past “clueless computer user”) — so that makes it hard, but not impossible. I can’t beat the low overhead of selling information products.

Just for you, Alexis — I pulled out my copy of DBO again and ran some of my current batch of ideas through the DBO filter — definitely some winners and definitely some others that I need to think about some more, for sure.

I am really upset about eBay’s new move to get rid of digital content. I already pay eBay enough money to sell my digital movies. I have has pretty good luck with this new website http://www.zipidee.com. They are still in their beta mode but so far their service has been awesome. They let you see digital audio and video (i believe they are launching ebooks in the near future), but the best part about it is that you dont have to pay a thing until your content sells.
