Vote For Me!
When I started the Walking the Talk series in this blog, I knew there would be some glitches.
There are always glitches in this game.
When you’re a newbie you tend to get frazzled during the process. But as a veteran, I tend to overlook these moments. I’m used to them.
This week it’s the header for my No More Smelly House blog. I hired a freelancer last week to make the header for me. Less than 24 hours before the deadline for completion, and I haven’t heard anything from the designer. He e-mailed me once I hired him to say that he would have some prototypes for me to check out. And then that was it.
There’s still some time on the clock, so we’ll see.
It’s just pushing my blog start up date further back. I was hoping to have all the necessary adjustments made by now. Oh well.
On a different note, Desperate Buyers Only is a finalist for the 4th Annual Best Internet Marketing Product 2006.
So please place your vote for DBO. Of course I will greatly appreciate it, as I do all of your feedback. The winner will be announced next Monday.

Hi. I’ve only just come across your blog and I’ve just read Walking the Talk from no 1 through to date.
All good stuff. I’ve noticed that you’ve removed the sales letter from the (now) blog site – so I unfortunately missed it.
However, given the research that you have now done, do you think it was close enough to describing the (final) product or was it way off? I’m curious about the idea of promoting a product well before it’s ready to go – I wonder whether it might lead potential customers in the wrong direction.
Hi Phil,
I will repost the sales letter later this afternoon so that you can check it out.
I really only posted the salesletter so readers here could get a look at it. It was only in the first draft stage. So I used some generic bullet points. But the story I told in the salesletter could be used regardless of the bullet points.
So I believe the salesletter is still very much usable even with switches that I’ve made to the content of the report.
Best regards,
Alexis
Hi again Phil,
Okay I uploaded the salesletter again. You’ll find it at:

Again, keep in mind that it will be updated. This is only the first draft.
Best regards,
Alexis
