Perhaps you’ve read one of my articles or have seen a product of mine, and you’re wondering, “Who the heck is Alexis Dawes???”

I’m an online entrepreneur and author – (and yes… I’m a woman. Many people assume I’m a guy because Alexis is a unisex name.) Been doing business on the Net for 6 glorious years now. I’ve had a lot of up’s. And I’ve had my share of down’s. But it’s an experience I’m absolutely hooked on.

My favorite hobby is photography. I love taking candid pictures of people. If I weren’t doing business online, I’d definitely be a portrait photographer.

I also love to travel the world. When I’m old and gray I’ll be one of those grandma’s with a passport hanging around my neck, and a walker with a suitcase attached to it! There is so much beauty in the world, and I want to see as much of it as I can.

My biggest turn off in the online world are people who whine. Doing business online is for hustlers. Movers and shakers. People who aren’t afraid to get out there and get their hands dirty.

If you’re terrified of making mistakes, or you read a lot of advice and don’t act on it… this ain’t the place for you. The Internet is a learning ground. You can either work at finding your place in the sun, or keep your day job. But don’t whine if you’re barely trying.

And yes… ‘trying’ does mean that you’re going to spend money and time. That’s just the nature of the game. Accept it or move on.

What have I written?

My most popular title of all time is Desperate Buyers Only, where I teach my readers how to create e-books for desperate buyers.

I do have other titles out there. But since I published DBO in 2006, I found a sizable number of “competitors” were taking the e-book ideas I talked about, and creating VERY similar sites. I guess they assumed because I was making money with these ideas, they’d follow my lead.

When I realized this was happening at an almost alarming rate I started using pen names for various titles, and I don’t openly talk about my other sites on this blog. Though if you have my products, I do reveal some of those sites.
