I’m just dying for you to be MY customer!

I received an e-mail yesterday from a prospective customer for my Desperate Buyers Only e-book.

The person e-mailed me asking for the price of DBO, and what my refund policy was. The reason they wanted to know my refund policy was because “most of these products are just junk anyway.”

Did I reply?

Nope.

I don’t entertain people who send me messages like this.

Why? Because they’re usually very hard to please.

Even if you gave them the winning lottery numbers, they’d complain because you didn’t give them some money to buy the ticket. They want blood, sweat, tears, your first born child, and all your lunch money for the next 6 months.

So when given a chance to say “no,” I don’t even try to contend with people like these.

Neither should you. That’s the beauty of doing your own thing. Sometimes you can decide when to avoid a dramatic situation. And when you can avoid it, do so without batting an eyelash.

There will be plenty of other things to worry about in this wonderful game.

Be wise.

I blog with love, but without boundries

Anyone who has followed my work knows that I’m not your typical Internet marketer.

I hate doing the same things that everybody else is doing. I like discovering new things about the Internet and forging my own path.

This trait is both a gift and a curse. I discover lots of new things. But I also spend a lot of unnecessary time performing certain tasks. It’s all a learning experience though. And I’m making money, so I consider it the cost of being Alexis Dawes.

I started this blog because even though I’m a rather reclusive person, I often have ideas and ramblings to share in regards to doing business online. I can’t see myself doing this everyday. (But then again, who knows… maybe I’ll get a wild hair and actually write here on a regular basis. I’ve been known to shock myself periodically.) Regardless, when I do, you’ll get a good nugget or two.

One other thing you should know about me… I’m a very, very nice person. I’m someone who has rich friends, poor friends, black friends, white friends, friends with purple hair, friends with no hair, spiritual friends, sinners, and everyone in between. I’m a world traveler, so I vibe with all kinds of people from different backgrounds.

But over the years I’ve also grown into one tough, no nonsense mama. So from time to time you may hear me say something harsh or downright ugly. Doing business online isn’t always a yummy pina colada on a white sandy beach. Sometimes IT IS harsh and ugly. And I want to openly express that part here as well.

I’m not saying anything to shock. Just to make people aware of the good and the bad, without having to bite my tongue.

Happy reading dahlings!
